Information about you – Your personal information is stored securely and confidentially, either electronically, using codes with password protection or in paper format which is stored in a locked filing box.

The data collected is used to enable effective communication during the therapeutic process, it is used in a safe and ethical manner and is in line with EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) May 2018.

Regularity – The sessions will last 50 minutes and will be on a weekly basis. If you are late for your session, we will still need to end the session at the end of the agreed 50 minutes.

Cancellations – A charge of £25.00 will be due, *if more than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation is given. If a session is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, the session must be paid for in full.

* If prior notice of 4 weeks or more is given of a session which you are unable to attend, there will be no cost for the cancelled session/s.

If you need to contact me between sessions to cancel a session, please contact me directly on the mobile number provided.

Payment – Fees are payable on, or before the day of the session by cash, card or bank transfer. In the case of changed circumstance or hardship, the fee can be discussed and reviewed. I also perform an annual review of fees but I will give you advanced notice of any change in the fee.

Ending therapy – When you decide to end the therapy, I suggest we have at least three weeks’ notice so we can properly conclude our work (of course, this is entirely up to you). If you wish to discuss ending at any time, please discuss it with me during session.

Confidentiality – The sessions are completely confidential except under the following circumstances:

a. Counsellors are required to have regular and on-going clinical supervision, in line with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) code of ethics. The supervisor also adheres to an ethical framework.

b. If I believe there is a risk of harm to you or others. However, this would only been done in extreme circumstances and I will always try to discuss with you first before taking any action.

c. Where I am obliged by law to break confidentiality.

Your fee for each session is £ …..
